At Compassion Haven House LLC, our mission is to break the cycle of housing instability by providing safe housing and compassionate support. We are committed to fostering a caring environment that promotes security and stability, leading to meaningful success for every individual we serve.

Compassion Haven House seeks to give residents a supportive foundation where they can utilize these resources, work toward personal goals, and explore opportunities that may help them move forward. We believe that true housing solutions come from combining shelter with empowerment. On a personal level, this mission is deeply rooted in our own family’s experience. Our youngest son was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 19. Over the years, he has lived in our home, in apartments, and in homeless shelters. No matter the setting, the outcome was the same—his illness created barriers that caused him to lose housing. Living through this journey with him has shown us first-hand the gaps in the system and the pressing need for a shift in traditional housing style. This is why Compassion Haven House LLC exists. For us, it is not just business—it is personal. We don’t just provide shelter, we provide a new beginning. With a strong foundation, resources, and guidance a house can potentially transform into a lasting home, giving individuals the chance to build a future they can sustain with confidence and dignity.

Who We Are

We are LaShaun and Johnny Amos, both proud Ohio natives, with Johnny born and raised in the great city of Columbus.

With over 30 years of combined experience in remodeling and interior decorating, we have spent years transforming houses and creating spaces people are proud to call home.

Compassion Haven House is a grassroots company. For us, it’s important to be part of the solution to the current housing crisis by producing quality homes that individuals can truly call home.
